'Living a Nightmare': Relatives of Unaccounted For Teenagers Desperately Seek Information After Alpine Fire

Teenage Swiss teenager a young man from Switzerland is one of those unaccounted for.

The relatives of young people missing after a deadly blaze at a venue in a Swiss alpine town are facing an agonising wait for official news and requesting clues about their family members online.

The fire ripped through the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Confirmed footage depict the roof structure catching alight as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.

Emergency services have stated that it could take an extended period to formally name the victims of the fire, which killed four dozen individuals and hurt another scores more. Officials stated on the latest update that 113 of the those hurt have been accounted for, with work ongoing to locate the other six.

In the waiting period, families and friends have been taking to social media to request any news about their friends who were in attendance that fateful night.

Desperate Searches for the Missing

The fate of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, 16, are still unconfirmed, according to an public plea from his mother.
